Exciting Partnership with GNAAS

We are delighted to be supporting The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) during 2024!

GNAAS is a renowned charity providing pioneering pre-hospital care and rescuing hundreds of severely injured or ill patients each year across the North East Yorkshire and Cumbria. As a fully publicly funded charity GNAAS depends on the generosity of individuals and organisations to continue its lifesaving work.

With an annual funding goal of £9.5 million GNAAS ensures emergency medical care is swiftly delivered often in remote or challenging locations. Their dedication to excellence has earned them widespread trust and recognition in the communities they serve.

This partnership is particularly significant as it reflects the shared commitment to community support between Lucy Pittaway Ltd and GNAAS. Known for our vibrant and colourful galleries across North Yorkshire and Cumbria we recognise the vital role GNAAS plays in safeguarding the well-being of travellers in the region and residents.

In 2023 GNAAS responded to over 2200 call outs with a daily operational cost of £23200. These figures highlight the critical need for ongoing financial support.

Throughout the year Lucy Pittaway Ltd has and continues to lead various fundraising initiatives and awareness campaigns to support GNAAS. These include a dedicated painting of which 10% of all sales will be donated to the charity fundraising events in the galleries a company-wide clothes collection raffles and participation in the Great North Run.
