New Lake District Gallery Opens

We are delighted to announce the opening of our seventh gallery and our second location in the Lake District, in Bowness-on-Windermere. This new gallery on Lake Road, LA23 3BJ, has officially opened its doors.

Bowness-on-Windermere, a popular tourist destination known for its picturesque landscapes, provides an ideal setting for Lucy’s unique and colourful artwork. Nestled on the shores of Windermere, the largest natural lake in England, Bowness attracts visitors from around the world. Its scenic beauty, charm, and plethora of outdoor activities make it a perfect backdrop for our new gallery, which promises to enhance the town's rich artistic and cultural heritage by offering locals and tourists a refreshing artistic experience.

Lucy shares her thoughts on this new venture: “Bowness-on-Windermere is an exceptional place with its stunning landscapes and welcoming community. We are excited to open our seventh gallery here and look forward to sharing my art with new and old customers.”

Julie Hampshire, the new gallery manager, adds: "It's an honour to manage this beautiful gallery in such a vibrant and picturesque location. We aim to create a welcoming space where visitors can enjoy Lucy's vibrant artwork and find inspiration."

This makes it a perfect addition to the town’s diverse offerings. The new space aims to enhance Bowness and provide an inviting atmosphere where art lovers can immerse themselves in vibrant artwork and merchandise.

Lucy’s artwork, known for its distinctive themes and bright colours, often depicts the landscapes and landmarks of the Lake District, North Yorkshire, and the North East. Her work features famous sheep, along with dogs, highland cows, and a variety of other animals, skylines, and subjects.
